The following marks carry no quality points and are not counted in graded credit hours: W (Withdrawal), I (Incomplete), X (No Grade Submitted), P (Pass), WP (Withdrawal Pass), R (Research), S (Satisfactory), and U (Unsatisfactory).
Only courses taken at Illinois Tech are used to calculate the GPA, and all such courses count — including those that do not apply toward graduation requirements. A Pass/Fail course earning a Fail is recorded as an E and does count in GPA.
