  1. Cj = the number of credits earned in the j-th course of the programme for which the CGPA is calculated.
  2. m = the total number of subjects (as specified and listed under the course structure of the parent department) that the student has registered for, from the 1st semester up to and including the 8th semester.
  3. Gi = the grade point earned in the j-th course; a grade lower than D (i.e., grade point < 4) in a course shall not be taken into account.
  4. j = the subject index, taking into account all subjects from the 1st to the 8th semester.
